Kaitlin Wildoner
Founder & Lead Disability Advocate
Kaitlin Wildoner is more than a Social Security Disability attorney; she is a dedicated advocate for individuals facing life’s most challenging transitions. As the founder of Beacon Disability, PLLC, Kaitlin has built a practice rooted in the belief that no one should have to fight a federal bureaucracy alone – especially when their health and livelihood are on the line.
A Specialized Approach to Disability Law
Kaitlin focuses her practice on Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI). While many firms treat disability as a side practice, Kaitlin has dedicated her career to mastering the complexities of the Social Security Administration.
She is particularly known for her use of the Medical-Vocational “Grid Rules,” helping claimants age 55 and older leverage their age and work history to secure benefits. Her technical expertise is especially deep in cases involving:
- Chronic Spinal Impairments (Degenerative Disc Disease, Stenosis, and Herniations)
- Complex RFC (Residual Functional Capacity) Claims
- The Intersection of Physical Pain and Mental Health Limitations
Whether she is filing an initial application or presenting a case before an Administrative Law Judge (ALJ), Kaitlin’s approach is defined by clarity, compassion, and evidence-based advocacy.
A Career Rooted in Advocacy
Kaitlin’s path to disability law began with a fundamental desire to give a voice to the vulnerable. After graduating from Flagler College, she gained pivotal experience at a personal injury firm, where she witnessed firsthand the barriers injured individuals face when seeking justice.
She earned her Juris Doctor from The Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law in Washington, D.C. During her time in the nation’s capital, she worked at a respected plaintiff’s injury firm, honing the litigation skills she now uses to stand up to the Social Security Administration. After passing the Florida Bar, Kaitlin returned home to Northeast Florida, eventually launching Beacon Disability to provide a more personalized, client-centered alternative to “big-box” national firms.
A Personal Commitment to the Community
Kaitlin lives in Northeast Florida with her husband, their daughters, and their dogs. As a mother and business owner, she understands the weight of responsibility that comes with providing for a family. This personal perspective fuels her mission: to help you secure the benefits you need so you can focus on what matters most—your health and your loved ones.

Why Clients Trust Kaitlin
“I founded Beacon Disability to be exactly that—a beacon. We provide the light and the map for a process that often feels dark and directionless. My goal is to ensure that every client, regardless of age or impairment, feels heard, protected, and empowered.” — Kaitlin Wildoner, Esq.
