Jeremy Hays
Hearing Attorney
Jeremy Hays is a Social Security Disability Attorney with more than 15 years of experience helping individuals navigate the disability process and zealously advocating for the benefits his clients deserve. Licensed in Arkansas, he represents clients nationwide in this federal area of law.
Originally from Campbell, Missouri, Mr. Hays earned his undergraduate degree from Arkansas State University and his Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas. He began his legal career gaining broad experience working in both civil and criminal law, before dedicating his work exclusively to Social Security Disability cases.
As of 2026, he has handled more than 3,000 hearings throughout the country, including Puerto Rico, and has helped many additional clients obtain benefits through strong pre-hearing case development. His appellate work includes nearly 1,000 Appeals Council Briefs and hundreds of federal court briefs, often resulting in approvals after prior denials.
Mr. Hays understands that clients are often coming to him at a time when they are financially strained, unable to work, and frustrated with a process that can take one to two years – or longer – to fully resolve. Because of this, he focuses on building strong cases early and working to obtain approvals as efficiently as possible. He also understands how important it is for clients to feel informed and not overlooked. Mr. Hays makes a deliberate effort to stay accessible, keep clients updated, and make sure they know what is happening with their case throughout the process.
Mr. Hays brings not only legal experience but also personal understanding to his work. Almost a decade ago, he was diagnosed with a severe physical genetic condition, after experiencing disabling symptoms for many months. It required extensive treatment, including multiple organ transplants and 2 years away from practicing law, which required him apply for and receive disability benefits himself. Having since returned to full-time work, he brings a deeper understanding of what his clients are going through – allowing him to advocate for them with a level of insight and perspective few disability attorneys can offer.
Outside of his practice, Mr. Hays enjoys spending time with his daughter, traveling, watching live music and concerts, playing golf and participating in nationwide barbecue competitions. He is a dedicated St. Louis Cardinals and Arkansas Razorback fan.
